HOW TO MAKE A ROSE LATTE WITH ROSE SYRUP

COFFEE -3 tbsp ground coffee -1 cup boiling water -1/2 cup milk of choice ROSE SYRUP -2/3 cup dried rose petals (food-grade) -1 cup sugar -1 cup water

First, make rose syrup by combining dried rose petals, sugar and water in a medium saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Stir to combine.

Then allow the sugar to dissolve and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cook this for about 5-7 minutes and remove from heat.

Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the petals.

Add ground coffee to a french press and pour boiling water over the grounds. Steep for 4 minutes.

Pour coffee into a mug. Stir in 1½-2 tbsp of rose syrup.

Warm milk in a separate mug in the microwave for 1 minute. Use a milk frother to foam the milk if desired. Pour warm milk over coffee, gently stir & enjoy!
