HOW TO MAKE ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS (THAT ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD!)

Brussel sprouts -1 lb whole brussel sprouts -2 tbsp olive or avo. oil -1 tsp honey -pinch crushed red pepper or everyday seasoning -salt and pepper to taste

Remove any wilted outer leaves. Trim stems and place in a bowl of water. Swirl them around to remove excess dirt. Then slice into 1/4 inch slices, and toss on a baking sheet with oil, spices and honey.

Bake for 20-25 minutes or until tender and golden on the edges.

Roasted brussel sprouts can be used in any recipe where you would normally use broccoli. I love pairing these brussel sprouts with this easy meal with Trader Joe’s Frozen Falafel.
