Simple + delicious baked honey mustard salmon! This flavorful dish is ready in 15 minutes. Serve with rice and roasted veggies for a deliciously balanced meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh salmon filet
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • couple pinches of black pepper
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced (about 1 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. Preheat broiler. 
  2. Place salmon on a large baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. 
  3. Whisk remaining ingredients together in a small bowl until smooth. 
  4. Spread honey mustard sauce over the top of the salmon. 
  5. Broil for 10 minutes. Its best if the salmon is slightly rare when you take it out of the oven, let it rest for about 5 minutes and it will finish cooking.
  6. I suggest serving with rice and roasted veggies. Enjoy!
