Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 14 black tea bags
  • 1/4 cup sugar – optional

Instructions

  1. Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, gently press tea bags against the side of the container to release tea flavor. Add sugar at this time if using. black tea bags steeping in hot water
  2. Transfer mixture to a pot and bring to a boil. black tea concentrate in a pot
  3. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. 
  4. Remove from heat, allow to cool and transfer to a jar. 
  5. Enjoy within 2 weeks. 

To prepare a glass of iced tea:

  1. Fill glass with ice.
  2. Add 3 tbsp tea concentrate and 1 cup water to a glass.
  3. Stir and enjoy
