Earl Grey Simple Syrup made with strong earl grey tea, sugar and water. It's easy and fun to use in homemade sodas, coffee or cocktails.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 3 single-serve earl grey tea bags
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Steep earl grey tea in boiling water for 6 minutes.
  2. Add to a pot with sugar and bring to a boil. Turn heat down to a simmer and cook, stirring frequently until thickened. 15-20 minutes.
  3. Store syrup in a glass jar/container with an airtight lid in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
