Matcha Frosting goes so well with almost any cake! One of my favorite pairings is with chocolate. This frosting is not only beautiful to look at, its a delightful change of pace from the usual buttercream flavors.

  2. Add the powdered sugar, matcha, milk, vanilla and salt. Start the mixer again, on low. As it’s mixing, increase the speed as the sugar gets incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as necessary with a rubber spatula. Beat until fully mixed and creamy.smooth and creamy matcha frosting on a rubber spatula

Notes

  • This frosting will taste great without vanilla, but it really does enhance the flavor so I recommend using it if you have it.
