Peanut Butter Dates

Peanut Butter Dates are the perfect little sweet snack! They are super easy to make with just 3 ingredients– medjool dates, peanut butter and dark chocolate.

Ingredients

  • 10 whole medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 2 oz dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Remove date pits by cutting a slit down the center. The pit will pop out easily. Place pitted dates on the baking sheet.

  3. Add about 1 teaspoon of peanut butter to each date.

  4. Melt dark chocolate (if using a chocolate bar, roughly chop the chocolate first), in the microwave for 30 second intervals until melted.
  5. Drizzle the chocolate over the dates.

  6. Top with any desired extra toppings, like toasted coconut, sprinkles, flakey salt, chopped nuts.

  7. Place in the freezer for 1 hour to set. Then transfer to the fridge to store. Store in an airtight storage container or ziploc bag in the fridge for up to one week. You can store in the freezer for up to 3 months. Just place in fridge the night before you plan to enjoy or let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
