Vanilla Bean Syrup made with 4 ingredients and it’s ready in just a few minutes. It’s perfect for elevating your home coffee, making vanilla lattes and even giving as a gift!
Place sugar, water and vanilla extract in a small pot.
Use a knife to gently cut down the center of each vanilla bean pod without cutting all the way through. Separate the two sides so you can run the knife down the center to scrape out the vanilla beans. Scrape the vanilla beans into the pot and add the whole pods when finished.
Heat over medium heat until boiling and sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and allow syrup to cool.
Transfer to a glass bottle and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
