A simple recipe or making your own Sweet Tea at home. Made with just 3 ingredients, plus one secret optional one 😉 It's easy to make a big pitcher to keep in the fridge for hot summer afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 16 individual black tea bags, I like Lipton
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • pinch of baking soda (optional)
  • ice and lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Add the boiling water to tea bags in a large pitcher or jar. Make sure to press the tea bags down to get fully submerged in the water. Steep for 5 minutes.

  2. Add sugar and pinch of baking soda if desired. Stir well until sugar is fully dissolved.

  3. Store tea in the fridge until ready to serve. Serve with ice and lemon wedges or slices.
