Fig and Goat Cheese Appetizer Bites

These Fig and Goat Cheese Appetizer Bites are the easiest appetizer you will ever make. All you need are figs, goat cheese, honey, and a sprinkle of black pepper!

Thank you, friendly Trader Joe’s employee who gave me this idea! I was buying figs, and he told me his wife cuts them in half, puts Trader Joe’s goat cheese between each half, and then bakes them. I knew it would be delicious, so I went back to buy goat cheese the next day, and man, these did not disappoint. They literally melt in your mouth.

Ingredients

Fig and Goat Cheese Appetizer Bites

  • 5 whole black figs
  • 1/4 cup soft goat cheese
  • 2 tsp honey
  • a sprinkle of black pepper

How to make these

  1. Cut figs in half and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet

2. Top with goat cheese & a drizzle of honey. I LOVE the Trader Joe’s goat cheese (a.k.a. chevre) with honey for these!

3. Bake at 400F for 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper & voila! You’ve got a classy, delicious appetizer ready to go.
